This handmade wall quilt features vintage embroidery pieces from Yunnan province in Southwestern China, along with block print indigo. Much if the embroidery is done in silk.

The two large large indigo block-prints in this piece are lovely examples of this technique. The one on the left features a child in Lunar New Year attire, including shoes and a hat embroidered with designs of tigers. The panel on the lower right features an image of a boy riding a goldfish and holding the stem of a lotus.

Measures approx. 51 x 51 inches and includes convenient hanging loops.
